Gap Analysis

The concept of gap analysis has been around for a few decades. GRIP’s approach is instrumental in performing a full analysis of business conditions or conducting a specific analysis of critical units or systems of the target business to ensure a sustainable organization, focusing on the coexistence of business, the individual, communities, and societies.

In a nutshell, GRIP’s Experts help organizations to determine “where they are” as a part of the business (the Current State) and “where they want to be” (the Target State or Future State).

Our Gap analysis offerings also comprise checking the state of relevant systems, policies, people, equipment, and procedures, required to comply with applicable regulations and best practices.

LAD™ Framework

LAD Philosophy

There is a progression from the belief that incidents happen only to others to the recognition that incidents can and do happen to us.

When organizations are uncertain to decide whether they require change or a complete transformation to reach their desired future state. Our LAD™ tool results help organization leaders in the decision-making process providing an improved understanding of how things stand at three levels of the LAD framework i.e., Leadership, Analysis, and Discipline in their organization.

Leadership is the ‘inspirational’ level in the Organization. All leaders should be safety ‘champions’ and translate their passion into plans and a reporting system to ensure they keep their fingers on the pulse.

Analysis is the ‘understanding’ level. Robust systems are required to analyze

  • Work environment,
  • Emerging risks scan, and
  • Implement risk reduction strategies. This part of the system ‘never sleeps’.

Discipline is the ‘perspiration’ level in the Organization. It reduces risk at the task level, consisting of:

  • Generic system controls such as emergency management, engineering specifications, purchasing, training, etc.
  • Controls for major sources of injury and illness like machines, vehicles, gravitational energy, electrical energy, mental health, etc.

We use our GRIP-Culture™ methodology to analyse and understand the organizational culture. It is important as culture shapes how people interpret direction from their leaders, and how they then act.
